I heard that Obama stated Hawaii over reacted to the threat of a tsunami.  Those of us who live here are greatful for the technology to prepare us for potential danger.  Can you imagine if a big wave did hit and we didn't 'over react'?  How many lives would be lost and businesses ruined?  The government would be spending a LOT of money to help us recover.  I still say, 'It's better to be safe than sorry."
