2010 TsunamiI heard that Obama stated Hawaii over reacted to the threat of a tsunami. Those of us who live here are greatful
for the technology to prepare us for potential danger. Can you imagine if a big wave did hit and we didn't 'over react'?
How many lives would be lost and businesses ruined? The government would be spending a LOT of money to help us recover.
I still say, 'It's better to be safe than sorry."

Meaning behind Live AlohaThe common use of the word "aloha" is used in greetings and farewells and in expressing love.
But the word means even more...
In laymen's terms, it could be called a "code of ethics": "Be
honest, truthful, patient, kind to all life forms, be grateful and be humble."
Another Hawaiian translation
literally means simply, "Joyfully sharing life."
To Live Aloha is a way of life as well as an attitude
of life. Our intention is to share this with others one shirt at a time...
